Charity Interclub Day 2024
On Sunday 23rd June, we had 65 riders from over 6 local clubs come and join us for our charity interclub rides in aid of the Kings Heath Foodbank - 13 groups led by our volunteer ride leaders , including a women only ride and a gravel ride ,headed out into the Worcestershire countryside for a couple of hours social riding, all returning to Gorilla Cafe. Upon their return donated unwanted cycling bric-a-brac was purchased all in the name of charity ( left over hardwear was donated to The Bike Project, and left over clothing donated to The Childrens Air Ambulance), a raffle was held with prizes donated by Achieve Fitness, and Gorilla Cafe, and an auction for the Big Wave cruiser donated by Adam Maclean, a framed poster ( designed by Neil Cocklin), and a framed More Than A cyclist jersey signed by ex World tour pro Alex Dowsett ( framing kindly carried out by LION picture framing services) were all sold making a grand total of over £1000 for the Kings Heath Foodbank. Thankyou to everyone who rode with us and made the day so special.
